The Asia-Pacific Symposium on Blasting Techniques (APS BLASTING), initiated by China Society of Explosives and Blasting (CSEB), is the symposium for scientific and technical update on all aspects of explosives and blasting in Asia and the Pacific. The Symposium is intended to provide an opportunity for experts, scholars, as well as entrepreneurs throughout the Asia-Pacific area to exchange their academic and technical achievements in engineering blasting, explosive materials and other related fields, so as to respond to the needs of civil engineering and construction community, to work out effective countermeasures for the opportunities and challenges faced by engineering blasting, and to make greater contribution to the further development of blasting technology. The APS BLASTING 2 to APS BLASTING 5 were held together with the International Conference on Physical Problems of Rock Destruction to provide a more convenient opportunity and a wider platform for the mutual understanding and penetration of industries and subjects related to blasting and rock destruction.

The 6^th Asia-Pacific Symposium on Blasting Techniques (APS BLASTING 6) will be held in Chongqing, China in July, 2025. We and the charming city of Chongqing warmly welcome you and look forward to joining you in discussions and activities.
